Jennifer Henry, PT, DPT, MPH

Jen earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Northwestern University.  She has been practicing for nine years and has seven years of private-practice management experience prior to moving to Cleveland.  Her clinical skills focus on sports rehabilitation including running analysis, cycling and bike fit, as well as general orthopedic pain and injury.  In addition, she has a special interest in the performing arts including treating musicians to help them rehab and prepare for their upcoming events.  In order to support her patients’ goals in returning to their sport, being pain-free at their desk, or hitting the stage, she combines her manual therapy skills, exercise knowledge, sports-specific skills, and Pilates certification to develop personalized, research-based, effective treatment programs.  Jen also has a background in community health promotion and disease prevention with a Master of Public Health degree from George Washington University.  She spent five years working on health policy in Washington, DC and feels passionately about using health education and movement to promote community wellbeing and empowerment.  She is a dedicated Wolverine fan having earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan.  She also serves as part-time faculty in the physical therapy program at Cleveland State University.

David J Skrajner, PT, DPT

David was born and raised in the Cleveland suburb of Euclid, Ohio. After graduating from St. Ignatius High School, he went on to earn degrees from both the University of Notre Dame and Slippery Rock University, where he earned his clinical doctorate in physical therapy.  David has worked extensively in the field of orthopedic rehabilitation over his 9 year career, specializing in disorders of the spine and extremities.  He is a certified Pilates instructor through Balanced Body, a national leader in Pilates education and equipment.  His special interests include the treatment of performing artists and the use of dry needling for the treatment of myofascial pain. 

Grace Nicklos BFA, Certified Pilates Instructor 
 
Grace is a dancer, dance educator, choreographer, and certified Pilates instructor. She is currently a company member and Education Director for The Movement Project, a modern dance company in Cleveland, as well as a dance educator throughout Northeast Ohio. Grace holds a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from Ohio University, where she began her Pilates training under Mariana Walchli. In addition, Grace has studied Pilates mat and apparatus through national leaders in Pilates education, Power Pilates and Balanced Body. Grace holds two Power Pilates certifications and is currently obtaining her certification from Balanced Body. Her interests in anatomy and functional movement of the body drive her passion for teaching Pilates as a form of whole body health and wellness.

 

Katie Pfrogner, LMT

Katie received her training through the National Institute of Massotherapy and also holds a B.A. in communications studies from Kent State University.  Before following her passion for massage, she was an actor working across the globe, but based herself in New York City.  She moved back to Cleveland in 2012 and has been focusing on massage therapy ever since.  To make an appointment for massage therapy, please call the clinic at 216-862-0687 or email info@relevationwellness.com.

 

 

 

 

Mike Dunlavy, Certified Pilates Instructor

Mike Dunlavy is 3rd generation Joseph Pilates teacher from Los Angeles. He and his family have relocated for small town life. In addition to being a Pilates instructor, Mike is a movement specialist with 18 years of training experience. He teaches the art of perfecting movement for all types of sport and fitness. He draws from all the areas of his expertise to create a complete movement training practice. 

These techniques include:

  • Yoga
  • Boxing
  • Strength Training
  • Olympic Weightlifting        
  • Plyometrics                                                                                                                                                            

But he truly believes in implementing Pilates at the core of a movement practice.
